Angela Holliday Hansen, Esq., is a formidable, yet kind, family law attorney. As a former corporate securities attorney, Ms. Hansen is detail oriented and not afraid to litigate when necessary. In addition to custody, divorce and adoption, Ms. Hansen oversees probate administration and drafts estate documents for average families and individuals.
Ms. Hansen is certified in Mediation since 1989 and is also trained in ADR through the Maryland State Bar Association, including mediation in divorce, custody and family law. Ms. Hansen also practices in business law and succession planning, advising owners of small family-owned businesses. She obtained her undergraduate degree from Colby College in Waterville, ME and her law degree from George Washington University Law School in 1993.
In 2013, Ms. Hansen opened her own law practice, Hansen Legal & Mediation Services, serving Rockville and Montgomery, Frederick, Prince George's and Howard Counties, Maryland.
Angela is appointed by the administrative judge of the Circuit Court of Montgomery County as a member of the Local Pro Bono Committee. She has operated various transitional homes for women and their children seeking restoration from addiction or abuse. She is a former member of the board of directors of Shepherd's Table/Progress Place in Silver Spring, MD and is also a co-founder of Building Black Adoptive Families at Adoptions Together, Inc.
